The third quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 business apps in Italy. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for these apps.

Microsoft Teams from Microsoft Corporation showed a significant rise in weekly downloads, peaking at 83K in the last week of September. The app's active user base also grew steadily from 805K at the end of June to 859K by the end of September.

Zoom Workplace experienced an increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 52K in the final week of September. Its active users exhibited a fluctuating trend, starting at 2.5M in late June and maintaining around 2.5M towards the end of September. Although the weekly revenue was almost negligible, it did see a slight rise to $6 in the last week of September.

Adobe Scan: PDF Scanner, OCR from Adobe maintained a consistent weekly download rate, reaching 22K in the last week of September. The app's weekly revenue peaked at around $717 in late September, while active users increased from 145K in late June to 163K by the end of the quarter.
